Last week, I spent some time with friends and their newborn son at their home just outside of Boston.  The baby was five weeks old when we took these photos and had just started to smile. I love that we were able to capture  photos of him awake and just waking up too. I’m so happy that I could document these memories for them.

For awhile I’ve been wanting to try taking videos at my newborn sessions but I’m usually so focused on the photography aspect that it slips my mind. Taking videos at sessions is a whole other skills set that I’ll have to work on. In the meantime, it has been fun trying to teach myself something new and I have some ideas for next time.
