What better place to photograph your family than in your home to document memories. What do you want to remember in 5 years? Your morning tradition of making pancakes? Where do family photography sessions take place?
Sessions take place either in your home or at an outdoor location in the Boston area. If you would like your photos taken outdoors, you can choose a location that holds meaning for you, or I am happy to suggest a spot.
How long will the session take?
Sessions last around 60 minutes.
What if my home isn’t magazine-worthy?
Don’t we all feel this way? It is about capturing this moment using the available light and highlighting little details to create artistic compositions that focus on your family and don’t reveal the clutter we all contend with.
What if the weather is terrible on the day of my outdoor session?
You’d be surprised what a gorgeous backdrop a cloudy day can make, but no one wants to be outside taking photos while it is pouring. If rain or extreme temperatures are forecasted, I will work with you to come up with a plan and reschedule if needed.
What if I have shy or challenging kiddos?
We'll catch the unique personality of your child or children, whether they are an introvert like me or a total ham. I do my homework before the shoot and make an effort to get to know and connect with your kids, so they feel comfortable throughout the process. I love it when repeat clients' children get excited to see me year after year.
How many images can I expect to see in my digital gallery?
Galleries include a minimum of 40 unique photographs, but often include many more.
What is the cost of a family photography session?
There is a $250 session fee, which does not include any prints, digital files, or albums. After reviewing your digital gallery, you can purchase digital files, prints, or albums of the images that you love.
