Ezra,
This has been a rough month for us. Your tantrums have increased exponentially and sometimes you are screaming for about 30 minutes straight. The tiniest sets you off and nothing will console you. My new strategy of ignoring the tantrum appears to be working now. I sit in the living room until you are ready to play. I keep telling myself it is a phase.

In the last few days you started saying “I need…” I don’t know where you picked it up and I try hard not to laugh.  “I NEED water!  I NEED pita bread!” Once the tantrums end you are a sweet little guy who has an insatiable thirst to know everything.  The phrases”Who’s that guy?”, and” what’s that?” are common place now. When you really want something or think I’m ignoring you, you put your face close to mine and look right into my eyes.

Your favorite things still are dinosaurs and trains; however,  fire trucks have made the cut. Grandma sent you fire truck pjs and you HAVE to wear them every night. You are also obsessed with stickers. This is partially my fault because I am using them as a reward for changing your diaper. Now you try to climb onto the changing table so you can get a sticker. It is funny how you used to avoid getting your diaper changed and now you beg for one.

I can’t wait to see what changes come next month.
