I’m pretty sure mom and dad would agree with me when we say we really, really worked hard for this session to come together. Big brother does not like to have his photo taken.  My son, Ezra, has trained me well for “energetic” kids but nothing seemed to work to get this big brother to take a photo with his family or newborn sister. Still, I love the photos that we did get of everyone together and particular the images at the end of big brother goofing around with his mom.

This session took places months ago but looking back I really love the intimacy of it. It was a pretty cloudy day and not a lot of entering the home; however, I think it made for some beautiful, emotive images.  We focused on the connection between the parents and the newborn baby. When we could, we involved the oldest son making it more of game for him.
