It is easy to get flustered trying to photograph a newborn with an older sibling, especially when the big brother or sister is a toddler and still very young.  Many people want that classic photo of all their children looking at the camera but advocate for letting that notion go and embrace photographing your new normal. It is less stressful to capture your family as they are, interacting, running around then to constantly ask them to look at you and say cheese.  Eventually, everyone might turn towards the camera but in the meantime you’ve captured your everyday, the details in your life and the new joy and energy that surrounds you.
