I don’t receive a lot of requests for hospital newborn photography sessions, or Fresh 48 sessions as they are sometimes called but I really enjoy photographing babies this young. The photograph tend to be more about the moment then the wrap and the pose. And, as a mom of two, I know quickly the time at the hospital passes and how it be such a blur. The babies change so quickly and there is something so special about capturing the first day. One day after this baby was born I traveled to Newton Wellesley Hospital. I was excited tot meet this family because the mom is an amazing photographer and I was so honored and humbled that she sought me out to document this special moment. We picked a time where her 2 year old son would be available to be a part of the session. The parents bought him his own doctor kit and it was adorable to see him do a checkup on his new baby brother. I really love all the photographs and I hope you do too.
So incredibly sweet. I wish I had shots like this of my baby.
