When I was at this family’s home, Mom told me they weren’t going to do newborn photos.  After her first doctor’s appointment she changed her mind.  There was a child waiting for a her one year wellness check at the office and the mom realized how quickly time would pass and the little features wouldn’t be so little soon.

I can totally relate.  My youngest turned four this weekend. It feels like I blinked and I don’t have my little baby girl anymore.  It is hard to remember her being a tiny, little baby anymore. At their session I really love how some of the detail shots came out.  In particular, there is a black and white image below where the toes of the newborn baby are curled up onto the dad’s chest.  Also, there is another image of dad and the baby “holding” hands.  I love the perspective of size.  It really shows how tiny baby are when the same features such as fingers and hands, are compared with their parents.
