Ezra,
Your second birthday is coming up in about 10 days. It is hard to believe that you will be two. The time has gone by so quickly. One of your favorite activities is playing in the sand. Whether we are at the park or at the beach you could spend hours moving the sand from place to place. As soon as we get to the park you run over to the stroller to grab your shovel.
Every month your “favorites” change. Right now your favorite book is “Good Night, Good Night Construction Site.” You LOVE the bulldozer and are always asking for it. Fire trucks are another favorite and sometimes the only way to get you into your PJs is to tell you we are putting fire trucks on. You are starting to string words together. The other day it was if we had our first conversation. Although our dialogue was brief it was still amazing. It is also cute to hear you say certain words like “Slovakia,” which is where your grandparents were for two weeks.
You are also warming up to your sister. Maybe you finally figured out she is here to stay. The other day you asked to hold her which you haven’t done since I came home to the hospital.
