During 2013, I’m participating in a blog circle called “Letters to Our Sons” with a wonderful group of photographers.  Each month we post a letter to our son/s.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–

I feel like every month I talk about your language skills so why stop now.  Your dad and I are stunned at how quickly you are picking up words now.  You’ve entered the phase where you repeat everything we say, so we have to be very careful.  My favorite is one day instead of saying iPad, I spelled it; you weren’t fooled and started saying i-p-d.

This month I picked up a train table for you and it has become by far your favorite toy.  As soon as you wake up in the morning you yell “play cho-cho” and dash into the dining room where we keep the train table.

However, the biggest change around here was the arrival of your baby sister.  At first you were thrilled to have her around and would point out Sadie’s eyes and nose.  After about a week I think some jealously started to set in.  I feel bad that we don’t have as much time to ourselves and I’m working on being better at it.  I know that you will be an amazing big brother.
