Dear Ezra,

This past month has flown by.  You are talking up a storm: I don’t know how you are aware of certain words or phrases.  In the grocery store I asked if you knew where the olive oil was and you responded, “I’m not sure mommy.”  I had no idea you knew that phrase.  You’ve also become much more demanding.  The commands “follow me,” “come on,” and “Sadie don’t touch that [toy]” are heard multiple times a day.

You are also very interested in your sister lately.  You’ll get on the floor to crawl with her and sometimes you will bring her toys to play with.  This month, the number of requests to hold your sister have grown exponentially.  When she cries you calmly state “don’t worry Sadie.”  Little things like this make my heart melt.  I still need to keep a watchful eye because despite your love for Sadie you still try to sit on her.

This past month we spent a week vacationing with your cousins on  Cape Cod.  It was fun to see the four of you play together, and I hope you all get along better with age.
