Over the last year I’ve shifted my newborn photography focus to a more lifestyle and documentary approach.  In photography, there are different genres and approaches and the lifestyle approach is one that I have fully embraced. Before having kids I could barely hold a newborn and now photographing newborns is one of my favorite types of sessions. I work really hard to find ways to make each session unique and I had the opportunity to describe my thoughts in a blog post on Clickin Moms. For awhile I thought about writing something about my process and was thrilled when my proposal was accepted.
