We are in the middle of a Polar Vortex here so it seems so surreal looking at photos from this past summer. I’m behind on blogging photo sessions (these photos are from July) and I am using the slow season to catch up.  For this family photography session last summer, we met up at a park near my house in Belmont, MA close to Cambridge, MA.  It is one of my favorite places to shoot because the light is gorgeous during the sunset and usually there aren’t a lot of people walking in the park.  Plus the background is just so simple and perfect.  This session took place during the middle of a cloudy day but it didn’t matter.  This toddler was so excited to have her photo taken and took control of our session.  She had a blast running around and showing off her sweet, energetic personality.  We spent a good deal of time chasing after her but it sure was a lot of fun. Mom and dad mostly wanted photos of their daughter but I love capturing parents interacting with their child.  They love playing with their parents and you are sure to get some big, genuine smiles.  This toddler loved her baby doll and it was so cute how she carried it around during the session.  In the photos, the doll’s presence seems so natural.  This is the third time I’ve photographed this family and I loved looking back and seeing how much she has changed.
