It was so nice to see this family again! It is the third time that I have photographed them at their home in Weston, MA, which is not too far from Boston. Babies grow so much in their first year and I love being able to document this special time as a photographer. Their daughter, Avery, is so adorable and always a delight to photograph.  Plus their house is absolutely gorgeous, making a wonderful backdrop to our sessions! This little girl always has the best, most serious faces. Since this was her first birthday, mom bought some balloons to incorporate into the session. The balloons ended up working so well in the photos and I believe some of the photos were displayed at her first birthday party. After a few individual photos of the baby, we took some family photos, and then a few photos with her three dogs. These dogs always crack me up because they have a tendency to photobomb our sessions. At each session we always try to tale at least one photo with the three dogs and the baby. I’m sure you can imagine the chaos trying to get a toddler and three dogs to sit still and look at the camera!  This time Avery ended up hugging one of the dog, which ended up in the cutest photo EVER.

At the end of the session it was time for this one year old’s snack and mom asked if I would mind sticking around to take a couple of real life photos. I absolutely love these photos of Avery in her high chair chopping on an apple. She ended up not only feeding herself but the dogs, too.  Being this cute is hard work!
