This couple is just so sweet – I mean REALLY sweet – and I was happy that I was able to photograph their wedding. They were guests at a wedding I photographed last year and happened to be in a lot of the dancing photos. The couple met at Boston University, which is where we had their engagement session and the wedding look place at the Fairmont Battery Wharf in the North End of Boston where they previously lived. The hotel is gorgeous and the plan was to have the ceremony outside on the water and to use the Martitme Museum for the cocktail hour. Sailing has an important place in their relationship since they met at on the BU sailing team. Unfortunately, the weather decided not to cooperate. It started to drizzle and the wind picked up and a decision was made to move everything inside. Then, if that wasn’t enough, there was an accident with a crane that made traffic a nightmare in the North End. The ceremony was delayed a little to give guests some additional time to arrive. Fortunately, the bride had AMAZING bridesmaids that kept her relaxed and the group ended up playing a iphone version of Time’s Up (at least that is what I call it). You could only hear laughter from the room where the group was waiting. Once the ceremony started there was nothing but smiles. There family and friends seemed so nice and I was happy that I could share this special day with them.

Oh, what a beautiful collection of images! That last black and white on the bottom right would be awesome as a huge print. And the silhouette of the bride in the window? Swoon-worthy. (Love the sock picture, too) 🙂
Very, very nice job you’ve done here! Love the pics, the guys socks made me smile. And dos the groom ever so slightly, just a tiny bit, kinda resemble Rob Pattinson?
Breathtaking! You did a wonderful job capturing the bride’s day. She is so lucky to have these memories
Wow! These are just beautiful. Boston is so lucky to have you as a wedding photographer!
