This past Thursday I went to my first event as a vendor. I’ve never done anything like this before and I was heading out on vacation soon after I learned I’d be a vendor so I scrambled putting something together. I first learned about the Ultimate Moms’ Night Out event, which was organized by MommyBites Boston, from the Parents and Babies of Belmont Meetup Group. As soon as I read the email I sent MommyBites an email to see if I could participate.

I had no idea what to expect and was blown away. The venue was really amazing! I’ve always wanted to go the Center for the Arts at the Armory in Someville, MA and now I have. I used to live down the road and always wondered what that castle looking building was and now I wish I had taken advantage of all the amazing programming held in the building.

There were a lot of great vendors there giving away prizes, free alcohol, food and entertainment, and a very funny standup comedian. MommyBites Boston will be hosting another event in October and I would highly recommend it.

Below is my table setup.  I’m pretty sure I put way too much on it but it so hard choosing what to display.  Before the event I ordered an album that I’m going to offer and was so excited that it arrived for this event.  I also put together a non-technical photography tip card for the event that was distributed in the  gift bags. I’m not an extrovert but I really enjoyed talking to all the moms and moms-to-be at the event.  There were a few clients there and it was nice seeing them again!
