Sadie has a new obsession with museums so twice this week we headed out to sights in Boston.  First up was the Discovery Museum in Acton, MA and then on Friday we met their Safta at the Boston Aquarium.  It slipped my mind that is was Good Friday and the place was rocking. Also, at the last minute we decided to head up to New Hampshire. Our weekend was clear so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get away.  We thought there was an egg hunt in town on Saturday but we missed it by a week and ended up at the playground for a few hours.  The next day we went a short hike at the state park down the road.  Ezra slipped on some rocks and ended up with a pretty decent scratch.  It is took him some time to recover but we eventually finished and were able to soak in the mild weather.

Apparently there is something about March and macro photography.  I didn’t realize it was a thing but for some reason I’m naturally pulled into at this time of year.  Sadie and I visited Russo’s in Watertown and and she helped me pick out some flowers.  When I’ve had time, I’ve played around with photographing them.  I really enjoy it and I love playing around with my editing and trying new things.  With my portrait photography I rarely go crazy but with my macro work I love added haze and textures.
