Boston Spring Family Photos
Spring is one of my favorite seasons to photograph in. I love flowers and they are such an amazing backdrop for family sessions. The Arnold Arboretum in Jamaican Plain (Boston) is one of my favorite locations. The park is beautiful and even though there are always a lot of people you can find quiet spots. Whenever I can convince a family to do a May session with me I jump for joy. I’ve known this mom for a few years and our kids are in a science class together at Ready, Set, Kids in Arlington so we have been talking about this session for awhile.
The day for our session ended up being a very cold day with storms looming. There wasn’t an option of rescheduling the session for weeks because of the dad’s work schedule so we moved forward. I was thrilled with the results. Even though the trees were no longer blooming with flowers, there were still bushes full of color and the lilacs were still out. We captured beautiful connection between the kids and the parents.
Here are a few other spring sessions that took place at the Arnold Arboretum: Mom and daughter & Family of five
