Boston College Headshot photographer

Paul and I first met at SUNY Geneseo when we were first year students. After graduating college we both went on our separate ways but then reconnected while living in Washington, D.C.and again in Boston. He moved here to work on his PhD at Boston College. His area of specialization is on “impact of social and digitals technologies on college students and higher education as a whole.” While finishing up his coursework and dissertation, he travels to other colleges to speak about this topic. More information can be found on Paul’s website.

Since his coursework is wrapping up Paul asked me if I could take some head shots for him. In December we schedule a time for right after the New Year, which happened to be on a very, very cold day. If my memory is correct it was a beautiful day but only about 18 degrees out. He braved the cold for a few photos outside and then we toured the BC campus looking for warm spots with interesting light. The admission’s office even let us use one of its rooms. Since Paul is on the lecture circuit and also teaches we utilized some of the academic space. I think we found some interesting spots and light for a variety of portraits.
