An In-Home Boston Baby Lifestyle Session

Why you SHOULD take photos in your home.

When you are looking for a Boston baby photographer, I think it is a common misperception to believe that  family sessions have to take place outside.  The weather in the Boston area isn’t very predictable and many parents wait for the perfect weather for an outside session; however, I really love going to homes to document families.  It is often overlooked as an option but the session time can be coordinated with naps and, as a photographer, I don’t have to worry as much about the where the sun is in the sky.

To me, the home creates an intimate backdrop and the focus of the session is really on the family and the connection.  Your home doesn’t have to be perfect. In fact, when I had my session I threw everything into a closet.  Your home doesn’t have to be huge.  A lot of my clients, and my own family, live in less than 1100 square feet.

I first met these two babies when they were a few weeks old at their newborn sessions.  If you look at their previous newborn session you can see the growth of the babies not only in the parents arms but based on items in their home.  There are so many images that I love from this Boston baby session so I hope you enjoy them too.
