This fall I met up with these 4 month old twins and their parents. I’ve never photographed twins and it was a great challenge to make sure I captured each baby. Since it was a chilly November day in Belmont, MA just outside of Boston, we opted to meet at their house for the on-location photography session. The babies did great and we were able to incorporate the home into the session, which I love to do. My hope is when you look back at the photos years later it will bring back memories of that time.  Also, personally, as a child I loved seeing where I lived when I was born and some of the items that my parents still owned and were still incorporating into their decor.

We started with some family photos first, since that was most important to mom and dad, and then  moved on to photos of the babies. I brought with me a backdrop and we were able to capture some cute photos of the babies interacting together and separately.  As you can see below, the twins became a little spunky, too. Once we had some keepers, the parents played around with the twins so we could capture some candid moments of the family interacting together.  I’ve always wondered what it would be like taking care of two babies at the same time but it always seems like the parents have it under control and say they wouldn’t know what life would be like without the two together.
